Capital Longcasters is a volunteer organization of anglers and long distance casters.  Our goal is to improve the quality of fishing and long distance casting within the Chesapeake Bay region.  We do this in the following ways:  

• We offer free long distance fishing and casting lessons that are open to the public.
• We produce clinics where interested people can receive advanced and in many cases, more personalized instruction.
• We produce and host regional competitive events designed to entertain and increase interest in fishing and long distance casting.

All money received from our paid events is used to fund future events, which are reasonably priced because none of our members receive compensation for their time.

Being a family oriented organization, the use of alcohol, profanity, or other rude behavior is strictly prohibited at Capital Longcasters events.
